Datenschutzrechtliche Anforderungen bei der Generierung und Archivierung qualitativer Interviewdaten

Abstract

Erarbeitet und verfasst von der Arbeitsgruppe Datenschutz und qualitative Sozialforschung. Förderinstitutionen und wissenschaftliche Fachgesellschaften fordern zunehmend die nachhaltige Archivierung, Sichtbarkeit und Nachnutzbarkeit von Forschungsdaten über deren originären Erhebungshintergrund hinaus . Publikationsorgane erwarten verstärkt die Bereitstellung der in Publikationen verwendeten Forschungsdaten, um die entsprechenden Ergebnisse nachvollziehbar und replizierbar veröffentlichen zu können. Mit einer solchen Entwicklung unterliegen die Anforderungen an die in den qualitativen Sozialwissenschaften erzeugten Forschungsdaten starken Veränderungen. Die Forschungsdaten dienen nicht mehr nur einem Studieninteresse, der Beantwortung einer einzelnen Fragestellung eines Einzelforschers oder eines Forscherteams, sondern sollen auch für weitere Forschungszwecke zur Nutzung bereitgestellt werden. Mit der Forderung nach einer nachhaltigen Nutzung qualitativer Daten wird der Datenschutz zu einem zentralen Problem für die qualitative Sozialforschung.
