Abstract

L'économie est un ensemble d'activités organisées de production et d'échange. L'économie est aussi l'étude positive des rapports des hommes vivant en société et dont le but est la satisfaction de multiples besoins. Mais, que veut dire "recherche en économie" ? Il s'agit de produire et de finaliser les connaissances sur les rapports sociaux de production et d'échange par l'étude, la théorisation, l'enseignement et le débat. Dans ce contexte, nous devons évoquer les rôles et les rapports contradictoires entre le chercheur et l'expert en économie. L'étude du laboratoire de recherche en économie "Redéploiement Industriel et Innovation" nous permet de tracer cette frontière ; d'évoquer les problématiques et les contraintes de la "recherche pure" dans un monde où l'excellence est souvent mesurée par l'efficacité des politiques de valorisation commerciale de la recherche. Le chercheur est ainsi averti… The economy is an organized set of production and exchange activities. Economics are the positive study of human relations, in a social context, which aims at satisfying a variety of needs. But what does "Research in Economics" means? It is to produce and develop through, teaching, studies, theories and debates, the knowledge about the production and exchange social relations. In this context, we must deal with the contradictory roles and relations between the researcher and the expert in economy. The analysis of the research unit "Industrial Redeployment and innovation", helps us to clear this boundary, and to call up the problematics and constraints of "Basic research" in a world where excellence is often measured through the commercial efficiency of Research.
