Abstract

En el presente estudio se indaga acerca de las relaciones entre las características de las instituciones, la forma de funcionamiento de las organizaciones públicas y el nivel de bienestar y desarrollo que alcanzan las sociedades. Es de interés conocer la incidencia de aspectos específicos, tales como la estructura normativa, las formas y estilos de gestión, la cultura organizacional así como el diseño e implementación de políticas sociales tienen en los procesos de modernización, desarrollo y bienestar social. En otras palabras, se busca conocer los factores que potencian y/o limitan que las organizaciones públicas sean eficientes, equitativas, pro-activas y al servicio de los ciudadanos y del desarrollo del país.
