Der Einfluss der Beratung, Weiterbildung und des Beziehungsnetzes auf den Erfolg junger Unternehmen [The Impact of Advise, Continuous Training and Private Networks on the Success of Newly Founded Firms]
Because of their importance for dynamic development of the Swiss economy, the formation of new businesses has been viewed with greater interest from policy makers at national, cantonal, and communal level and from representatives of private profit- and non-profit institutions. According to statements of the Federal Office for Vocational Education and Technology (BBT, Bern), there are more than 200 initiatives for the promotion of new businesses in Switzerland. However, a complementary scientific study of these initiatives is lacking. Serious knowledge gaps exist. The present paper contributes to a better understanding of this important phenomenon. It analyses the impact of professional advise, continuous training and private networks on the success of newly founded firms.
