Intégration régionale en Asie du Sud-Est : le renforcement de la coopération macroéconomique permet d'atténuer les risques

Abstract

Les dix membres de l’Association des nations du Sud-Est asiatique (Asean) ont créé l’une des régions les plus dynamiques du monde et ont dévoilé en 2003 leur projet de communauté économique de l’Asean (CEA) visant à donner naissance à un marché unique d’ici à 2015. En décembre 2008, la ratification complète de la charte de l’association a permis d’établir un cadre institutionnel pour une intégration régionale qui se déroule, de facto, depuis les années 80. Cet objectif, qui est énoncé dans le projet et dans la charte, est particulièrement difficile à atteindre dans le contexte actuel. Ce Repères propose quelques pistes pour l’avenir.
