Abstract

• La globalisation et la régionalisation tendent naturellement à se renforcer. Mais les responsables politiques, dans les pays Membres ou non membres de l’OCDE, doivent veiller à ce que les accords régionaux n’aillent pas à l’encontre de la globalisation. • La globalisation présente des risques pour la cohésion sociale et pour la souveraineté des politiques économiques des États. • Ce sont les méthodes flexibles post-tayloriennes d’organisation de l’activité économique qui constituent la force micro-économique motrice de la vague actuelle de globalisation. • L’une des principales causes des problèmes structurels que connaissent les marchés du travail aux États-Unis et en Europe réside dans la crise des organisations tayloriennes, et non dans les importations en provenance des pays en développement. • Contrairement à une opinion largement répandue, la globalisation ne semble pas accélérer d’une manière importante la délocalisation de l’activité industrielle des pays de l’OCDE.
