Abstract

Reliability is a key aspect to guarantee e-government initiatives' success and viability. This work analyzes several antecedent factors of the reliability of e-government services. Specifically, we focus on perceptions about the characteristics of e-government services (perceived security and privacy, and perceived ease-of-use), the technology and the service provider (in this case, the government). Results show that all these factors significantly affect the reliability of e-government services, which in turn affects intention-to-use these services. Conclusions and managerial implications derived from results are discussed at the end of this research.
