Abstract

En la actualidad existen fuertes debates en torno a la necesidad de contar con políticas públicas que reconozcan de manera explícita la heterogeneidad que caracteriza al universo de jóvenes. Éstos cuestionan aquellas construcciones teóricas reduccionistas de la realidad y las versiones acríticas, que luego fueron reproducidas al resto de la academia, a los ámbitos políticos y a la opinión pública general. Para aportar a estos debates, en el presente documento reafirmamos la importancia de pensar en políticas públicas que reconozcan que la juventud está integrada por grupos sociales diferenciados, con particularidades y especificidades en cada tiempo y en cada sociedad y a través de los infinitos intersticios de ella, con distintos rostros, voces, anhelos, dificultades y problemas.
