Psychologie des entrepreneurs, localisation des activités innovantes et pertes à l’échange international
Abstract
À la suite d’un Livre Vert consacré à l’esprit d’entreprise, la Commission européenne s’est récemment inquiétée du déficit d’entrepreneurs de l’Europe par rapport aux États-Unis. Cet article présente un modèle de commerce international avec incertitude qui étudie les conséquences des comportements optimistes et pessimistes d’un continuum de managers sur la localisation des activités innovantes et le bien-être. Si au moins l’un des pays gagne à l’échange, diverses simulations montrent que le commerce international peut détériorer le bien-être de son partenaire et du monde dans son ensemble. La libéralisation du commerce, en aggravant la surproduction ou la sous-production des biens risqués, peut amplifier les distorsions déjà présentes en autarcie.Download Info
