Impact de l’ouverture sur la performance des entreprises : l’exemple tunisien

    Abstract

    L’objet de ce travail est d’analyser le lien entre l’entrée sur les marchés d‘exportation et la productivité des entreprises manufacturières, dans le contexte tunisien. Nous avons commencé par une analyse de l’aspect réglementaire et fiscal qui touche les entreprises industrielles, et par l’étude de la politique commerciale de la Tunisie. Par la suite nous avons passé en revue la littérature théorique et empirique sur le sujet. Enfin, pour expliquer ce phénomène, nous avons testé trois hypothèses : l’auto-sélection, l’apprentissage par les exportations, et l’auto-sélection consciente, en nous basant sur des données au niveau des entreprises sur la période (1998- 2003). Les résultats valident l’hypothèse de l’auto-sélection, alors que l’effet d’apprentissage par les exportations et celui de l’auto-sélection consciente n’ont pas pu être observé.
