Les composantes du système d'information structurant l'entreprise numérique : une étude empirique en France
Abstract
Les technologies de l’information constituent une des dimensions essentielles de l’émergence de l’entreprise virtuelle. Depuis une décennie, plu- sieurs vagues successives d’applications se sont succédées : groupware, messagerie, Internet, progi- ciel de gestion intégré, informatique décisionnelle, intranet, extranet, gestion de la relation client, ges- tion de la chaîne logistique intégrée. Si les discours en management sur les technologies de l’information se multiplient, peu de travaux tentent de cerner la réalité des systèmes d’information des entreprises, considérant souvent l’équipement des entreprises comme un fait acquis. L’article cherche à dégager les dimensions effectivement présentes des systèmes d’information dans l’entreprise et leur contribution à la constitution de l’entreprise numé- rique. Pour ce faire, il s’appuie sur une étude repo- sant sur un échantillon de 357 entreprises françai- ses. Les résultats de l’analyse de données (analyse en composante principale, classification ascendante hiérarchique) mettent en évidence des niveaux d’équipements très variables.
