Abstract

Ce Cahier de Recherche Est une Premiere Etape Vers la Formalisation D'un Modele de Croissance Economique Incorporant la Loi de Verdoorn et Qui Permettrait D'expliquer la Persistance des Disparites Regionales Canadiennes. a Ce Titre Nous Presentons une Rapide Revue des Deux Principales Approches de la Croissance Economique, le Modele Neo-Classique et la Loi de Verdoorn Dans le Modele de Kaldor. Nos Resultats Empiriques Rejettent une Version Speciale de la Loi de Verdoorn Pour L'emploi Total et la Production Totale, Mais la Confirment Dans Sa Forme Usuelle, C'est-A-Dire Quand la Loi de Verdoorn Mesure les Rendements a L'echelle Croissants Dans le Secteur Manufacturier. Ainsi Nous Concluons Qu'il Serait Justifie D'incorporer la Loi de Verdoorn Dans un Modele Dynamique de Croissance Economique Pour Expliquer les Disparites Regionale
