This synthesis analyzes the views and perceptions of Malian health professionals concerning opportunities and constraints for improving health and nutritional outcomes of children 0 to 5 years old. Although the findings draw primarily on discussions with Ministry of Health officials and interviews of other Malian health professionals undertaken as part of the Linkages between Child Malnutrition and Agricultural Growth study, the overall analysis includes references to results from other LICNAG surveys at the household and commune levels.
