Abstract

Em Setembro de 1995, quarenta elaboradores de políticas e pesquisadores africanos reuniram-se em Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, para examinarem a experiência africana com a Transformação Agrícola e identificarem as acções necessárias para promovê-la. O Gabinete da USAID para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável no "Bureau for Africa" (AFR/SD) patrocinou o seminário em colaboração com o Banco Africano de Desenvolvimento (BAD), o Institut du Sahel (INSAH), e a Universidade Estatal de Michigan (MSU).
