Abstract

L'article exploite un nouveau champ de réflexion stratégique : l'externalisation des activités logistiques. L'idée défendue est que l'anticipation et la gestion des sources de dépendance, notamment la gestion de la capacité productive offerte par le prestataire, est un vecteur de compétitivité de la relation d'externalisation logistique, et plus généralement d'efficacité pour toute la chaine logistique. La proposition est la suivante : la concentration de l'activité avec un client principal constitue pour le prestataire logistique un environnement stimulant en terme d'implication dans la recherche de la performance. On aborde ici la dynamique du processus d'externalisation logistique en vue d'aboutir in fine, à tester l'influence de la segmentation capacitaire des prestataires sur la relation de prestation logistique.
