Der Fallstudienansatz in der Prozeßforschung im Bereich des Internationalen Managements

Abstract

Eine einführende Diskussion über die Zielsetzungen und die Methoden der Fallstudienforschung soll deutlich machen, daß der Fallstudienansatz in vielfältiger Weise für die empirische Prozeßforschung nutzbar gemacht werden kann. Insbesondere wird der Stellenwert der komparativ-quantitativen Fallstudien im Rahmen der Prozeßforschung herausgearbeitet und anhand von Beispielen aus dem Bereich des Internationalen Managements belegt. Die Umsetzung einer fallstudiengestützten Forschung zur Hypothesengenerierung erfordert eine Reihe komplexer, iterativ miteinander verknüpfter Einzelelemente, auf deren Ausgestaltung im weiteren dann sehr ausführlich eingegangen wird.
