Innovation in Structural Change of Local Government

Abstract

Describes a theoretical model that endogenizes structural changes in local government institutional structure and relates selected economic and social functions to these institutional innovations. Use of the model to test factors affecting county government's decisions to adopt alternative service delivery methods; Variables indicating county financial status.
