Organización y producción del conocimiento científico en los organismos públicos de investigación agraria: el Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA)

Abstract

La investigación en agricultura ha sido tradicionalmente realizada por centros públicos de investigación. El Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA) constituye un organismo público de investigación relevante con funciones de gestión y ejecución de investigación científica e innovación tecnológica en el Estado de las Autonomías. En este trabajo se consideran los cambios más importantes que la institución ha sufrido en los últimos años en cuanto a su misión, sus relaciones y contacto con los usuarios y la transferencia de conocimiento al sector privado, así como el papel de los investigadores en el normal funcionamiento de la institución. Asismismo, se presentan los modelos organizativos de la investigación agraria autonómica y los mecanismos diseñados para coordinar la investigación agraria en todo el Estado. Finalmente, se menciona la labor de otros actores y productores de conocimiento en el sector agrario.
