Abstract
El presente estudio analiza una serie de reformas para la promoción de la equidad social desde una visión de la economía política, describiendo los diferentes tipos y las etapas en los procesos de reforma. Asimismo, se señala cómo se relacionan las reformas para la promoción de la equidad social con otras áreas de las políticas públicas y se describen aquellas características específicas de las reformas en los sectores sociales y sus diferencias con otro tipo de reformas.
