    Abstract

    Este texto constituye parte del material de apoyo del subcomponente "Estrategias para la prevención temprana de la violencia en los niños" del programa "Convivencia Ciudadana". Está basado en el libro "La prevención temprana de la violencia. Herramientas para los maestros de niños pequeños". En este manual se abordan algunos temas del libro como la influencia del modelaje del maestro en los niños, los efectos de los medios de comunicación en la agresión de los pequeños, las técnicas para la modificación de las conductas agresivas en los menores, los tipos de consecuencias planeadas (en lugar de las "sanciones") que el profesor puede aplicar, los roles de agresor, víctima y espectador necesarios en toda escena violenta, las formas de desmantelar estos roles.
