La experiencia de crecimiento económico en El Salvador durante el siglo XX
Abstract
El presente estudio forma parte de un proyecto de investigación regional sobre los determinantes del crecimiento económico en América Central y República Dominicana. El trabajo presenta abundante evidencia empírica acerca del desempeño económico de este país, la evolución del producto, la inversión en capital físico y humano, la fuerza de trabajo y la productividad. Luego de analizar la evolución de las principales fuentes del crecimiento económico, se realiza un análisis de contabilidad del crecimiento a fin de determinar la contribución de cada una de las fuentes en el proceso. Asimismo, se realiza una estimación de un modelo de cointegración para determinar la influencia de distintas variables sobre la tasa de crecimiento del producto y sobre la productividad.Download Info
