    Abstract

    En muchos países de América Latina existen dudas sobre la posibilidad de implementar exitosamente políticas de apoyo al desarrollo productivo. Luego de presentar brevemente los antecedentes teóricos que justifican este tipo de intervenciones, el texto se enfoca en dar cuenta de los avances logrados en la generación de criterios para orientar la implementación de tales políticas, aspecto que ha sido el más débil en la experiencia de los países de la región.
