Análisis De Incidencia Del Gasto Público En Educación Superior: Nuevas Aproximaciones

Abstract

. Los estudios de incidencia del gasto se han contrastado de forma empírica fundamentalmente a través de la metodología de incidencia normativa del gasto, técnica que cuenta con importantes limitaciones, algunas de ellas insalvables. Intentando ofrecer nuevos enfoques, existen líneas de investigación que tratan de incluir comportamiento, y derivadas de éstas, otras aproximaciones que intentan estudiar conjuntamente comportamiento e incidencia, aunque ambas con menor desarrollo formal y empírico. Por ello, se propone una metodología que trate de aunar otros enfoques, los cuales tienen un amplio contraste empírico por separado para el caso concreto de la educación (rendimientos de la educación, origen socioeconómico y movilidad intergeneracional), y que, aplicados en conjunto, pueden dar respuesta a cuál es el impacto del gasto público en educación en el largo plazo.
