Abstract

. La ley de Wagner o ley del crecimiento secular del gasto público constituye un importante tópico en la investigación sobre las causas del crecimiento secular del gasto público. En este trabajo se analiza de forma exhaustiva dicha ley a través de los escritos del propio Wagner y sus exegetas tales como Tim y Bird. Asimismo, se realiza su contrastación empírica en sus seis variantes comunes para el caso español.
