日本半導体産業の課題：2000年代における日本半導体産業の不振の原因

Abstract

2000年代における日本半導体企業の年平均成長率は4%前後で、世界の年平均成長率に比べても、半分程度である。一方、1990年代の中ごろまでは売上高シェアトップを争ってきた米国は世界の年平均成長率と同じくらい伸長しており、日本半導体企業が韓国、台湾、中国の半導体企業にシェアを奪われた形になっている。この不振の状況を製品群、消費市場、応用分野で明らかにし、またその原因となる産業構造の変化、それに対して日本半導体企業が十分に対応できなかった理由を考察した。最後に半導体産業の今後の方向についても言及した。
