ロシアへの外国直接投資と地域経済成長--パネルデータによる実証分析--, Foreign Direct Investment and Regional Economic Growth in Russia: An Econometric Assessment

Abstract

本稿は,2003年以降の直接投資ブームや外国資本受入れ実績に見る激しい地域間格差に注目した独自のパネルデータ分析を試みることで,ロシア地域経済に対する外国直接投資(FDI)の成長促進効果を実証的に検証した。また筆者らは,FDIと研究開発潜在力の相乗効果を推定することにより,吸収能力仮説のロシア地域における妥当性も検証した。我々の推定結果は,ロシア諸地域の経済発展を決定付ける要因の一つとして,外国資本がいまや重要な位置にあることを強く示唆した。また,FDIの成長促進効果は,必ずしもより多くの外国資本を惹き付けた地域に限られるものではないことも確認された。更に筆者らは,FDIと地域研究開発潜在力の極めて頑健な正の相乗効果を検出することにより,ロシア地域に即した吸収可能仮説の現実適応性を強く支持する実証結果を得た。
