Abstract

Journal rankings are gaining importance in the field of logistics and supply chain management in Scandinavian countries as the tendency to compare business schools and universities, departments and faculty is increasing. This paper reports a journal quality ranking survey of Scandinavian logistics and SCM faculty as to their perspectives of leading journals. It also explores the attitudes towards open access publishing and discusses the use of formal rankings.
