Efter lönesamhället - Om glesbygden som framtidsmodell

Abstract

Det här kapitlet spanar in i framtidens arbetsliv och kontraktsrelationer utifrån den allmänna sanningen att det system vi lever i idag – och som byggts upp och etablerats under en längre tid – kommer att ersättas av något annat. Men vad? Här får vi nöja oss med spekulationer utifrån nutidens tendenser. Signalerna handlar om att en krympande skara i framtiden kommer att anställas ”heltid” och ”tills vidare”, medan allt fler kan förväntas ha lösare kopplingar till arbetsgivare, alternativt själva driva företag. Hur reagerar vi på det? Vad gör man? Mitt exempel är Dalsland, där folk under senare år sagts upp från industrier i en strid ström. Eftersom nedläggningar och friställningar som tillsvidareanställda lönearbetare främst drabbar folk i glesbygden kanske det är där – i obygden – som man först prövar det liv som senare också väntar de lyckligt lottade i Högskoleort och Storstad? Det finns kanske anledning att betrakta ”efterblivna” områden som föregångare i vissa avseenden?
