Abstract

The performance assessment model for grid companies which is currently being developed by The Swedish Energy Agency has been subject to criticism in different aspects by the grid companies. This paper reports the findings from a survey where the grid companies’ attitudes towards the performance assessment model were explored. The main conclusion is that the theoretical criticism that the model has been subject to prior this study seems to be relevant in practice as well. Especially the long-run effects of the model are dubious.
