Leva med psoriasis - att lära känna och förhålla sig till det främmande
Abstract
Denna undersökning handlar om livet med psoriasis. Den bygger på fyra intervjuer med individer med diagnosen psoriasis. Tolknings- arbetet är baserat på idéer hämtade från Grounded theory (1967). Resultatet visar att det handlar om en grundläggande social process – att lära känna och förhålla sig till det främmande. Rapportens huvudsakliga bidrag är att beskriva denna sociala process. Undersökningen ingår som en fördjupningsdel i en större rapport om PSO, en enhet som behandlar psoriasis vid Sahlgrenska sjukhuset. Syftet med undersökningen är flera: att återapportera intervjuresultatet för PSO, att ge insikter om villkoren för individer med psoriasis och i förlängningen bidra till en diskussion kring de villkor detta ställer på vården och dess ekonomi. Rapporten är ett bakgrundsmaterial för min doktorsavhandling om redovisningens praktik och de processer som denna praktik ingår i. Den som får psoriasis ställs inför något främmande. Att lära känna och förhålla sig detta fenomen kan beskrivas som en process. De element som får processen att röra sig i en viss riktning är: medvetandets laboratorium, tankefigurer och handlings- alternativ. Om hudens förändringar, om än ovälkomna, till en viss grad kan accepteras ökar handlingsalternativen. Energi som tidigare har gått åt för att återskapa bilden om psoriasis som det icke friska, ger utrymme för andra tankar och handlingar. En viss acceptans kan ge individen med psoriasis helt andra möjligheter att leva sitt liv. Jag har också pekat på några övriga aspekter om hur det är att leva med psoriasis exempelvis en del utgifterna som individen har i samband med läkarbesök, medicin och transporter.Download Info
