Abstract

Six articles présentés lors des 31èmes journées d'économie monétaire et financière à l'Institut d'études politiques de Lyon les 19 et 20 juin 2014 ont été retenus pour publication dans ce numéro de la Revue française d'économie. Ces journées ont été organisées par Antoine Parent en charge du comité local et par Alexis Direr et Jean-Bernard Chatelain, en charge du comité du programme. Il s'agit de l'événement annuel du Groupement de recherche européen (GDRE) en monnaie, banque et finance, financé par le CNRS. Environ 90 textes ont été présentés dans des sessions parallèles. La table ronde organisée par Andy Mullineux lors de ces journées a déjà été publiée dans le numéro 2014/3 de la Revue française d'économie (Mullineux [2014]), sous l'intitulé « Avons-nous rendu les banques « bonnes » ? ». Cette table ronde fait le point sur les conséquences des changements récents de la réglementation bancaire sur la diminution de la prise de risque par les banques, sur l'amélioration de l'allocation du capital et du crédit, sur la diminution des rentes dans le secteur bancaire et sur l'éthique des professions bancaires.
