Les approches évolutionnistes et institutionnalistes sont-elles complémentaires ? La transition comme mise à l'épreuve

Abstract

Malgré leur hétérogénéité, les théories évolutionnistes et institutionnalistes appellent des rapprochements, au fur et à mesure qu'elles gagnent en reconnaissance. L'objet du présent travail est donc de dégager non pas les points communs, mais les complémentarités éventuelles entre l'évolutionnisme et l'institutionnalisme économique. Le terrain choisi pour cette analyse comparative est celui des transformations qu'ont connues depuis 1989 les économies anciennement planifiées, dans un processus dit de « transition économique ». Nous nous appuierons en particulier, mais non exclusivement, sur les travaux touchant l'ouverture de l'économie russe.
