Abstract

Cet article a pour objet de dresser le bilan de l'abondante littérature (scientifique et professionnelle) consacrée à l'innovation à l'hôpital. Trois perspectives dominent cette littérature, qui ont pour point commun de mettre l'accent sur l'introduction de systèmes technologiques au sein des hôpitaux. Il s'agit des perspectives de l'hôpital-fonction de production, plateau technique et système d'information. Une perspective nouvelle (celle de l'hôpital prestataire de service complexe et noeud de réseau) est mobilisée depuis peu. Elle est en mesure d'intégrer les précédentes et de rendre compte de manière systématique, sans biais technologique ou fonctionnel, des multiples formes et acteurs de l'innovation à l'hôpital.
