Abstract

La présente contribution, à portée théorique, vise à analyser l’entreprise familiale selon deuxpoints de vue, organisationnel et stratégique. Il s’agit d’abord de montrer l’existence d’unparticularisme de l’entreprise familiale s’agissant de sa configuration de propriété et de contrôle.L’objectif consiste à analyser ce qui rend spécifique l’entreprise familiale et sa stratégie.L’entreprise familiale se comporterait différemment vu que la composante familiale prédomine etinfluence indubitablement la marche de l’entreprise. Ainsi, d’une part le processus de prise dedécision et d’autre part le processus de mise en oeuvre des stratégies seraient inévitablementinfluencés par des considérations familiales. Deux corps théoriques sont choisis pour caractérisercette entité d’un point de vue organisationnel : les théories de l’agence et de l’intendance. Dans undeuxième temps, les répercussions de cette analyse sur la prise de décision et la stratégie de cetteorganisation seront analysées. L’on est, en effet, en droit de se demander si la spécificité de lapropriété de l’entreprise familiale a une influence sur la prise de décision stratégique. Par ailleurs,la stratégie de cette entreprise, tant sur la forme que sur le fond, serait-elle différente des autresconfigurations de propriété ?
