L'organisation réticulaire dans le capitalisme de l'innovation intensive à la lumière des pratiques de gestion au sein de l'industrie culturelle : vers un paradigme "créatif" et "cognitif" ?

Abstract

Cette communication a pour ambition d'analyser les nouvelles modalités de coordination à l'oeuvre au sein du capitalisme "post-industriel" ou "de l'innovation intensive" en les confrontant à certaines pratiques observées dans le secteur culturel (Menger, 2002). Cherchant dans un premier temps à caractériser les organisations évoluant dans le secteur culturel, on met en évidence que ces dernières peuvent être appréhendées, dans leur grande majorité, comme des organisations "floues" et "latentes" (Starkey et al., 2000) et qu'une telle structuration -loin d'être "hybride" ou "inachevée"- apparaît dotée d'une assez forte spécificité et relativement bien stabilisée. On procède alors, dans un second temps, à l'analyse du pilotage de la coordination des activités à l'intérieur de différents réseaux d'entreprises du secteur automobile à la lumière de ces différents faits stylisés. On met en évidence une assez forte disparité entre les réseaux nord-américains et japonais, notamment dans la caractérisation des normes de gouvernance encadrant le processus de conception de produits. Plus généralement, on avance que l'inadaptation des normes encadrant le processus de conception au sein de certains réseaux nord-américains témoigne d'une absence de prise en considération de l'avènement d'un nouveau "paradigme" dans le pilotage du réseau et permet d'expliquer en partie leurs moins bonnes performances économiques. On conclut sur la nécessité de revisiter la notion de "structure de gouvernance" afin de rendre compte de l'avènement d'un paradigme intégrant notamment la dimension "créative" de l'agir.
