Abstract

Dans le prolongement des simulations d'harmonisation des politiques agricoles de la CEE et des Etats Unis, la communication pose et illustre le probleme de la prise en compte du temps dans les simulations. Si les baisses de prix sont etalees sur plusieurs annees, correspondant a l'horizon temporel de validite des elasticites d'offre et de demande, la statique comparative presente des limites serieuses par rapport a des projections comparatives. Le progres technique en particulier evite les inversions de balance commerciale et modifie le sens des interactions CEE-USA. De meme l'augmentation de la rente liee aux quotas laitiers rend les baisses de prix envisagees (moins 25 pour cent) presque inoperantes.
