Abstract

La crise du subprime a claqué dans le ciel de la croissance mondiale comme un éclair par une journée chaude d'août. Le 9 août, BNP Paribas annonçait le gel de plusieurs de ses fonds investis dans les crédits immobiliers à risque, pour cause de liquidité insuffisante des actifs de ces fonds. Cette annonce traduisait la contamination de la sphère financière et bancaire par la crise immobilière américaine. Alors que la croissance mondiale atteignait un sommet à 5,2 % en 2006, l'année 2007 s'annonçait jusqu'au mois de juin comme excellente. La fin de la déflation au Japon ou le renforcement du cycle d'investissement en Europe confirmaient le découplage de la croissance mondiale (...).
