Abstract

La mondialisation des économies contemporaines est généralement associée à une augmentation de la pression concurrentielle subie par les firmes. Théoriquement, cet accroissement de la concurrence internationale force les entreprises à réduire leurs marges et mène à un bien-être général accru. C'est en écart au bien-être maximal, que confère l'état de la concurrence pure et parfaite que s'évaluent les déficiences de marché et par là même la nécessité d'une intervention des institutions régulatrices de la concurrence. Un des moyens d'évaluer la concurrence est d'observer le pouvoir de marché des entreprises, ce dernier étant nul en situation de concurrence pure et parfaite. Le pouvoir de marché d'une entreprise, c'est son aptitude à pouvoir déterminer un prix qui s'écarte de son coût marginal, donc à disposer d'un taux de marge élevé (...).
