Abstract

En 2004, le déficit public a été ramené à 3,6 % du PIB après 4,2 % en 2003. En 2005, il aurait continué à baisser pour atteindre, selon le gouvernement, 3,0 % du PIB, grâce aux 8,4 milliards d'euros (0,5 point de PIB) provenant de la soulte des industries électriques et gazières (IEG). En 2006, le déficit public atteindrait, selon le gouvernement, 2,9 % du PIB, soit une amélioration de 0,6 point de PIB hors soulte. La soulte n'a plus d'impact sur le solde public en 2006 mais d'autres recettes non fiscales viendront renforcer la baisse du déficit (...).
