Abstract

The temporal flexibility of the customer is increasingly sought by service providers. The temporal transactions conducted with customers can be regarded as a genuine temporal cooperation. Four types of temporal flexibility are identified and their issues considered. Some examples illustrate the current practices, traditional or innovative. Tomorrow, more service activities could use these valuable levers.
