Abstract

La corruption préoccupe de nombreux organismes publics ou privés qui aspirent à lutter contre ses ravages en impliquant l'entreprise. Elle constitue à la fois une menace et une opportunité pour l'entreprise. La question essentielle pour l'entreprise est dès lors de savoir s'il est possible de gérer les risques induits par la corruption, plutôt que d'appliquer un principe d'évitement systématique, ou de fermer les yeux sur certaines pratiques. Si l'idée qu'il existe une corruption acceptable est politiquement incorrecte, il convient néanmoins d'appréhender la réalité de la corruption sur le terrain, pour permettre à l'entreprise de trouver des solutions équilibrées, à travers une méthode appropriée de gestion des risques. Cet article prend en compte ce double aspect et démontre que la prise en compte de la corruption concerne à la fois les modes de gouvernance de l'entreprise, son fonctionnement opérationnel, et doit s'insérer dans une stratégie de gestion globale des risques.
