Abstract

Le développement des sociétés industrielles semble aller de pair avec la spatialisation des activités économiques et leur ancrage dans des territoires locaux ou régionaux aux frontières relativement bien établies. Depuis quelques années face à un contexte de concurrence exacerbée et la diffusion du paradigme de l'économie de la connaissance, nombre de pays considèrent désormais les clusters d'innovation comme la modalité privilégiée de l'action publique en faveur de la compétitivité nationale. Se pose cependant la question cruciale de la faisabilité, des contraintes et des conditions d'efficacité de ces nouvelles politiques industrielles et de l'innovation.
