    Abstract

    Si l'immigré est, par nature, à même d'établir des ponts entre son économie d'accueil (généralement les économies du Nord) et son pays d'origine, il est frappant de constater que la littérature anglo-saxonne sur l'immigration et sur l'entrepreneuriat des migrants a peu étudié leur existence. Elle se concentre, en général, sur l'entrepreneuriat comme vecteur d'insertion pour l'immigré dans sa société d'accueil. Après avoir présenté cette littérature, nous montrerons que les développements francophones de la théorie des conventions semblent les plus pertinents pour analyser l'entrepreneuriat immigré dans une telle perspective, par la remise en cause de la philosophie même des théorisations dominantes héritées notamment des travaux de John Rawls (1971). Nous proposerons un modèle alternatif de l'entrepreneuriat immigré et nous l'utiliserons pour décrire le processus d'accompagnement des entrepreneurs immigrés et, ainsi, envisager dans quelle mesure les structures d'accompagnement entrepreneurial des économies du Nord peuvent contribuer au développement des économies émergentes.
