Abstract

La concurrence internationale est devenue largement incontournable : les économies d'échelles, les facilités de communication, la différenciation et le renouvellement rapide des produits impliquent que les marchés pertinents se situent sur des périmètres qui dépassent les frontières des états. Elle s'exerce souvent, et de plus en plus, entre pays de niveaux technologiques comparables. Ce livre offre une présentation claire et accessible des développements récents de la théorie économique et en montre la pertinence à propos de l'internationalisation de secteurs tels que la sidérurgie, l'automobile, les télécommunications et la banque. Il en tire également des enseignements précis pour améliorer l'efficacité du marché de l'emploi.
