Abstract

The epidemiologic conditions in developing countries gives rise to a growing need for essentials drugs, among others to treat people infected by HIV/AIDS. This paper aims at addressing this sanitary issue under TRIPS agreement. It contrasts the flexibilities provided by the TRIPS to ensure public health promotion in developing countries and the means used with difficulty by Brazil, Thailand and India to improve people's accessibility to anti-Aids drugs.
