Abstract

Le present article s'inscrit dans le debat suscite par l'ouvrage de Gibbons et al. et presente une partie des resultats d'une etude portant sur la tranformation du mode de production de connaissances en sociologie et en sciences economique au sein d'universites quebecoises au cours des trois dernieres decennies (Albert, 1998). L'enquete vise a evaluer en quoi la dynamique de production de connaissances dans ces deux disciplines, et donc leur autonomie relative, a ete affectee par l'intensification des pressions en faveur de l'instrumentalisation de la connaissance prvenant des cahmps politique et economique au Quebec et au Canada.
