Le renforcement international des droits de propriete intellectuelle: quels effets en attendre?

Abstract

Cet article evalue les apports recents de la theorie economique concernant les effets du renforcement international des droits de propriete industriels, a la suite notamment des accords TRIP. En premier lieu, nous nous placons dans un cadre statique et montrons qu'un tel renforcement doit engendrer, toutes choses egales par ailleurs, une redistribution des revenus en defaveur des pays du Sud. En deuxieme lieu, nous analysons les effets ambigus du reforcement des PDI sur les flux de commerce et d'investissement direct entre le Nord et le Sud.
