Nous utilisons l'enquete Emploi pour estimer la structure des salaires mensuels qui pourraient etre offerts aux beneficiaires du revenu minimum d'insertion (RMI) et de l'allocation de parent isole (API) s'ils occupaient un emploi. Cette demarche noous permet de comparer le revenu disponible d'un menage qui touche les minima sociaux avec le revenu disponible de ce meme menage si l'un de ses membre percevait son salaire potentiel, en exploitant un echantillon de menages ayant percu le RMI ou l'API au cours de la periode 1994-96.
