Abstract

La premiere partie de ce texte examine les conditions analytiques sous lesquelles on peut attribuer une valeur a une langue ou une autre, en distinguant notamment les valeurs privee et sociale, marchande et non-marchande. La seconde partie illustre la premiere a l'aide d'une estimation de la valeur privee marchande des competences en deuxieme langue nationale, en Suisse romande et alemanique respectivement.
