Abstract

Aujourd'hui dotee d'une forte base industrielle diversifiee, la Malaisie est l'une des economies en plus forte croissance et detient la 18e position parmi les puissances commerciales du monde. Le sixieme plan malais (1991-1995) a mis la priorite sur les depenses de sante, afin de permettre la construction de nouveaux hopitaux et l'amelioration des services existants. Dans le but de concentrer ses efforts sur les soins de sante de base, le gouvernement a privatise ces dernieres annees les secteurs medicaux secondaires, tels que les pharmacies.
